A MESSAGE FROM BRICE LONG:
My 17th annual Brice Long and Friends Back2Back Foundation Benefit Concert was held Saturday, July 9th at The Alhambra Theatre in downtown Hopkinsville, KY. This year’s concert and donations raised over $107,000!!
Thanks to my band and songwriter friends James Leblanc, Angela Hacker and Steven Dale Jones for joining me. I began my performing career at a young age and many of those performances were at the Alhambra. It was great to be back home and be back at the Alhambra.
Money raised is generated from sponsors, silent auction, ticket sales and donations. Proceeds from the concert helps to fund our annual Christmas project and allows us support other organizations in Christian, Trigg and Todd Counties of Kentucky. We were able to help 107 families for Christmas last year. We have also been able to help several families after Christmas with needs due of financial hardship and tragic events.
After the devastating tornados in December of 2021, Back2Back received over $25,000.00 in funds that we have disbursed to over 50 families in need. It has been a great year of giving for Back2Back. Along with our Christmas project and our tornado relief efforts, we have been able to help and support the following organizations in the local community: Grace & Mercy, Redeemed & Restored, Oak Grove Community Center, Western State Hospital Patients, PADD for Forgotten Angels, Cumberland Hall, Genesis Express, Helping Hands of Trigg County, Jennie Stuart Medical Center Staff Appreciation, Trigg County Hospital Staff Appreciation, Local law enforcement Offices, Joy’s Closet, Camp Rainbow.
Thanks to everyone that sponsored, donated, volunteered, performed, supported and worked to make my Back2Back Foundation, Brice Long & Friends fundraiser happen. - BL
